Who is Usain Bolt?

Usain Bolt is one of the greatest sprinters, if not the greatest sprinter, of all time. He is from Jamaica and has excelled in track and field running events in the Olympics and in worldwide competitions. He has won a total of nine gold medals in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4 by 100 meters races in the Olympics.
Overall, Usain Bolt won twenty gold medals in Olympic and world championship competitions between August 2008 and August 2016. He is the world record holder in the 100 meters, 200 meters, and 4 by 100 meters competitions.
Usain Bolt became famous with his sweep of those three races at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. He followed that Olympic performance with another sweep in the 2012 Olympics in London. He repeated this feat in the last Olympics in Rio in 2016.
Usain Bolt’s name is right up there with the world’s greatest runners, such as Carl Lewis of the United States and Paavo Nurmi of Finland.
