What diseases does George Crosby have?

He suffered from a lot of diseases! The book Tinkers follows the history of George Washington Crosby on his deathbed—a hospital bed in the living room of the house he constructed himself. Crosby is an eighty-nine-year-old man who is dying from kidney failure caused by cancer that began in his groin, and he also suffers from Parkinson's disease. While waiting for his imminent demise, his mind starts to wander in a chaotic manner. He frequently hallucinates, and his memories, most of which are centered around his father, Howard Aaron Crosby, are disordered. In conclusion, Crosby suffered mainly from three diseases at the end of his life: kidney failure, cancer, and Parkinson's disease. All of these diseases are linked to the process of aging.
