Single Variable Calculus, Chapter 1, 1.2, Section 1.2, Problem 22

According to a recent study, the chirping rate of crickets a certain species apprears to be related to temperature as shown in the table below.

a.) Make a scatter plot of the data




b.) Find and graph the regression line




c.) Estimate the chirping rate at 100 F by using the linear model in part (b)

The chirping rate at 100F is 260 chirps per min.
